She is a Speech Language Pathologist who provides language, cognitive, and swallowing rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. She is originally from the Canary Islands, Spain, where she worked in a multidisciplinary clinic providing communication, swallowing, and voice rehabilitation to individuals who experienced stroke, laryngeal cancer, and vocal fold pathologies.
Inma moved to the US in 2013, and since then has been practicing as an SLP serving individuals with communication needs in their community. Her mission is to assist people with cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders to increase life participation and improve quality of life. She is proud of her person-centered approach to treatment, which is based on the latest scientific evidence and centered on the person’s preferences and values.
